This error occurs when your date format contains a "/"

BingDownloader creates files from the date for every downloaded BingImage.

I've fixed this issue in BingDownloader release 1.1

Please check it out...

Copy BingDownloader to your "Documents" folder.

It's now running from C:\Program Files\Mozillla Firefox

BingDownloader creates a folder called "BingImages" in the same directory.

So it needs write access to where it is present.

It's better to run BingDownloader from your Desktop/Documents/Pictures folder or any place where you have access.

Thank you.... Now, could you make it download ALL Previous Bing images?

Actually, I would love to... But there is no API to get images from

If you look at the source code, you can see that I actually parse the html to find the background image.

So even the slighest change could break the app. (However I'm ready to play a cat and mouse game :D)

If you want to view the archives of all Bing Images, you can visit, LongZheng's site @

I'm working on a backgrounder kind of app that automatically runs bingdownloader at a specified time everyday. so that you can get all wallpapers from today.

I also have made another app,

this changes your desktop wallpaper automatically picking images from a folder.

Just map the "BingImages" to this app and you can see Bing Wallpapers on your desktop... :D
